Position Title: GTT_Senior Technical Engineer (26624BR)
Position Description
Cab Development Bangalore is part of Global CAB GGT. We are developing projects for both Asia and other markets. We are currently looking for PM for coordinate and lead activities as liaison to Bangalore to secure deliveries from Chinese suppliers.
Cab Engineering Bangalore needs a local support in China to be able to lead and coordinate Project activities in China.
-Main activities will be to secure quality and feedback from supplier and sourcing activity. This will be done in the cross functional team including Purchasing and Supplier quality department.
- Coordination between BLR and or joint venture companies and factories in China to solve quality issues for products.
-Take active part in the final stage development of the parts to secure the quality for the final customer.
- Join purchase in initial supplier visits and evaluations during sourcing activity.
-Act as local PD representative and utilize expertize in Bangalore and facilitate meetings between PD and supplier.
-Good skills in both English and Chinese and ability to both writing and verbally translate are crucial.
It will require frequent travel within China but also to Bangalore in India.
Responsibility:
？ Front office for components from China.
？ Coordinate all questions between CAB BLR, joint venture companies and local suppliers.
？ Facilitate meetings and translations
？ Lead the transition work that is needed from China.
？ Part of local sourcing in China for other components and supplier meetings.
？ Join local supplier meetings and visits in China.
Qualifications:
？ Bachelor or master degree in Mechanical engineering
？ Relevant experience from automotive with in exterior and interior components
？ Good project leader skills and communication
？ 4-8 years of experience
？ Good knowledge in English and Chinese in written and verbal.
