Overall Responsibility
To be responsible for the total budget, implementation of show initiatives and execution of RX plans for CIMES with primary focus on international exhibitors and visitors.
Key result areas
1. To prepare, implement agreed plans and monitor its progress for CIMES.
2. To ensure CIMES achieved its budgeted revenue, control all expenses within budget and achieve the effective average price according to the budget.
3. To ensure smooth execution of marketing activities and co-ordinate efforts from CES and RX to contribute to the overall success of CIMES.
4. To prepare and submit accurate and timely reports.
Principal Accountabilities
1. To enhance the international content of CIMES by formulating, executing and monitoring the onsite activities/event, features and conferences.
2. To prepare budget and monitor expenses.
3. To support RX operations manager to ensure the RX corporate standards for overall show requirement of Hall venue and layout is being achieved.
4. To prepare formal sales and marketing presentations for Sales team (including CES team, ISG and promoters) to assigned accounts as required.
5. To monitor the establishment and development of exhibitors and visitors database for CIMES.
6. To ensure reports are prepared and submitted timely, including:
a) To submit weekly sales report
b) To submit monthly show performance report
c) To prepare competitive show reports
d) To compile budget and quarterly forecasts
7. To develop and maintain good working relationships with partners, foreign trade offices and MNCs in China.
8. To ensure the international sales and visitors target are being achieved.
9. To formulate plans and actively recruiting the agreed list of top international bells to CIMES show, to support the CES team to recruit the identified list of top local bells in exhibiting at CIMES.
10. To ensure payment is collected according to the targeted milestones and all payment collected prior to the show open.
11. To ensure the effective average price is being achieved according to the budget.
Requirements:
1. Degree graduated with at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in exhibition industry.
2. Have a strong command of both spoken and written English/Chinese.
3. Articulate and possess strong communication skills.
4. Must have good initiative and a positive attitude.
5. Resourceful and a good team player.
6. Able to plan and execute marketing campaigns with minimal supervision.
