JOB TITLE: Firmware Engineer
DEPARTMENT: China Product Development Center
REPORT TO: Software Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTION/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
？ Provide software development and testing in real-time embedded systems and PC software on incoming products.
？ Develop software test tools for embedded software in Windows/Linux environment on incoming products.
？ Perform triage and determine root cause of software defects by modifying source files in C, C++, and python.
？ Provide enhancements to the original implementation on current products.
？ Deliver quality embedded software and PC software solutions to incoming product in a timely manner.
？ Responsible for the preparation of software testing documentation, test procedures and related information.
？ Maintain current knowledge regarding new developments and trends in software engineering and related fields.
？ Perform other related design/testing assignments as required.
KEY JOB SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
？ 1-years C/C++ programming experience.
？ 1-years RTOS programming experience. E.g., Linux, FreeRTOS, etc.
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
？ TI C6000 DSP programming skill.
？ PC software development skill (C++/C#).
？ Experience of TI Sitara ARM+DSP microprocessors.
？ Experience of TI MSP430 microcontroller.
？ Experience of STM32 microcontroller.
？ Experience of digital signal processing and algorithm. E.g., digital filter, FFT.
