· Provision of tax advice or assurance to the business units eg in the form of tax planning and contract structuring, reviewing the contracts, providing tax assurance to the business projects, such as M&A and business restructuring.

· Supervise the external fiscal regulation changes and analyse the impact to the business and company.

· Supervise the tax compliance preparation and filing obligations, i.e. reviewing the direct/indirect tax returns as well as basic TP compliance.

· Manage the tax risks of the company and the potential audits carried out by the Tax authorities.

· Working with other different departments such as local finance and accounting staff to support the business projects.

Requirements

· Has at least 8-10 years of tax professional consultancy experience or has worked with an international CPA firm as a tax manager, or has tax accountant/manager experiences in corporate.

· Recognised professional tax training, with a sound knowledge of corporate tax principles and Chinese taxation.

· Deep experience at China Tax including direct/indirect taxes and certain basic knowledge on TP and international tax is essential along with strong communication skills when dealing with the internal business clients.

· Some knowledge of economic evaluations and experience in the use of spreadsheets.

· A proven ability to work as part of multi disciplinary teams and to build and maintain networks within and outside Tax.

· Good English and Mandarin communication skills, both written and oral are essential
