Job Profile
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide deskside support to Shanghai Offices, resolve their technical issues to return end users to productivity as quickly as possible.
Deskside support scope includes: PC installation, onboarding/termination support, IPT, Printing, VC systems, critical meetings/events support, network, cabling and server rooms administration.
Coordinate projects delivery in Beijing office, involve in project assessment, test, deployment and closure.
MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resolve client technical issues:
Isolate and determine root cause of technical problem based on client input and remote management technology
Determine effective resolution of issues by troubleshooting and analyzing computer system errors of moderate to difficult scope where analysis of situations or data require an in-depth evaluation
Determine business impact of problem based on Business Unit criteria
Provide remote technical support for hardware (printers, desktop, laptop, drivers, monitors, and MHDs) and software (internally developed applications, productivity, computer operating systems, internet applications, and various drivers)
Interact with internal and/or external escalation resources to resolve complex technical issues
Recommend current supported software applications and hardware appropriate to best meet client requirements
Create and update knowledge base to improve service to clients including: develop written procedures, tips, reports, and support related material
Acquire and maintain knowledge on newly purchased and existing supported desktop software, hardware, and systems
Work on tasks to develop and/or address process improvements, training, knowledge transfer, reports, and documentation
Coordinate projects delivery in Beijing office, involve in project assessment, test, deployment and closure.
Coordinate communication and troubleshooting to determine impact of major system outages which effect the entire organization
Assist with the testing of new or upgraded PC software and hardware releases as requested
Ensure that Medtronic's systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with Medtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION REQUIRED & YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of IT experience with IT support areas in MNC
Bachelor's degree is preferred;
English read and speaking is a must。
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Experience of Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, Voice over Ethernet, Routing, switching and VPN technologies.
Experience of Windows 7/10 Laptop Support and Configuration.
Experience of Microsoft O365 support and configurations
Experience of SCCM and client deployment approaches.
Experience of Active Directory, group policy, etc.
Experience of Apple iPad, iPhones, Mac and mobile devices managements
Experience of supporting video conferencing suites
Experience of supporting network and desktop printers.
Experience with IP Phone solutions (Cisco Systems).
Experience of Security concepts and tools, such as Antivirus Software (Symantec), hard disk encryption.
CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS
ITIL Foundation V3 is must, ITIL Practitioners are preferred;
CCNA is preferred;
MCSE is preferred;
