ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Supplier Quality Deliverables
o Manages and audit supplier's quality management systems and control plan designed to assure quality and safety compliance.
o Manages and executes work related to in-production and pre-shipment inspections.
o Manages and performs supplier site audits or assessments focusing on reviewing supplier's capabilities for existing and new products.
o Contributes in necessary actions to solve product quality issues using approved Quality tools
? Supplier Development Deliverables
o Develop and execute supplier development programs to drive cost competitiveness through
? Improving manufacturing methods
? Qualifying more cost effective Materials
? Improving operations output and process efficiency
? Yield improvement
o Use quality tools such as FMEA or Gage R&R to Support suppliers in implementation of identified improvements
o Monitoring supplier's progress on jointly identified initiatives
o Maintaining strong relationship and communication with MWV Supply Chain team in support of supplier scorecards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

? Education/ Experience
o BS in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience
o Minimum 5 years applicable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
o Experience in printed paper products, cut and sew products, vinyl and fabric products or heat-sealed poly products industry required

? Skills
o Project Management experience (complete responsibility for "owning" projects, working with vendors and contractors, managing P&L of projects, meeting project timelines, etc.)
o Experience with Environmental Health and Safety issues
o Working knowledge of statistical analysis, including function use of Minitab software.
o Strong analytical abilities
o Excellent written English and oral communications skills
o Ability to work in a self-directed OR team environment
o Knowledge and experience with production systems and techniques such as TQM, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing is preferred
o Familiar with one or more CAD software systems such as AutoCAD or ProE a plus.
o Ability to communicate fluently in English and Hindi
o Willing to travel frequently within Asia regions
