Associate Director, Based in BJ or Shanghai

You will be responsible to lead projects and work together with multiple stakeholders at country, regional and global level to achieve on-time deliveries.

Your team

While based full time in Beijing or Shanghai, you and your team will pro-active in identifying issues and risk; monitor and manage dependencies for CTB projects assigned, identify, engage and manage stakeholders, keep track of timelines, manage risks and issues to achieve project deliverables. In our collaborative culture, the team works closely with a number of other teams to ensure UBS' obligations are met. You will work with people from all walks of life making this team diverse, sharing ideas and experiences to achieve common goals.

Your experience and skills

You have:

- Experience in working in and with regional/global teams

- An understanding of what it takes to lead and to be part of a successful team

- Experience in project management, process and demand management

- Strong in process analysis, root cause analysis, cost benefit analysis, business impact analysis and business integration activities (i.e. training, communication)

- Experience in leading and facilitating requirement, options and solution walkthrough with stakeholders

- Ability to influence. Good communication skills and a strong networking capability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholder groups

- Meticulous & organized with a keen eye for details

- Knowledge on the regulatory requirements and banking operation

- Can do, eager to learn attitude

You are:

- Motivated, driven and passionate about your work

- Bachelor's degree or above, or international equivalent.

- Minimum of 8 years work experience in a similar position in a financial institution and/or as consultant / project manager.

- Self-motivated and willing to work independently in a precise and reliable manner, with a sound judgment for when to escalate issues.

- Capability to handle sensitive or confidential information.

- Sound knowledge of MS Powerpoint and Excel.

- Ideally, experience in general risk management including control frameworks.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as clear communication skills.

- Ability to flexibly manage a broad task portfolio.

- Fluent English in both verbal and writing

- A team leader and an inspiration to those around you
