Tasks:

• Responsibility of planning and writing new products user documentation such as user manuals, application notes and quick guides, in both English and Chinese languages.

• Update and maintain existing products user documentation.

• Manage, update and maintain online help and internet site content.

• Manage translation and review of documentation to major languages via ABB approved contractors and internal reviewers.

• Work with cross functional team members in the local and global ABB organization to ensure all user documents fully meet user needs internationally and cover any geographical legal requirements.

• Establish a working relationship with Business Unit (BU) technical authorship function to ensure common tools, style and mandatory content is followed

Requirements (must have):

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• Minimum 2 years technical writing experience.

• Good communication skills in both Chinese and English in speaking and writing.

• Willing to learn and to communicate with global supporting team.

• Ability to work independently on given tasks, make schedules and follow them.

• Show initiative, motivation, work systematically and goal-oriented.

Requirements (good to have):

• Experience of Adobe tool (e.g. Framemaker, illustrator, inDesign, Robohelp).

• Knowledge about electrical systems, Drive, Motion Control and PLC products

• Willing to develop user documentation process.

• Work or study experience abroad or in an international company

Experience of testing and verification process of
industrial products.
