Role Summary/Purpose:
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, the incumbent will have the unique opportunity to shape and accelerate the future of the GE Healthcare China Commercial Operations team into a data enabled and forward looking teams, built on the foundation of digitization and sales enablement. The Lean Leader will partner with the Comm Ops Directors, Region Sales lead and Modality Sales lead to create a consistent operations team that is able to support the growth of the business in China by introducing contemporary tools and processes that is up to date with the latest technology and process maturity.
? Be seen as a change agent to improve interactions over processes and tools. Drive collaboration amongst the team.
? Introduce a variety of tools that is suitable to fix, improve or change a certain process by using tools such as AGILE, FASTWORKS and/or Lean.
? Work with operating leaders and teams to uncover and assess lean Six Sigma opportunities.
? Identify process improvement projects linked with business outcomes.
? Facilitate, train, and coach project team members in the use of Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and FastWorks methodology and tools.
? Lead a cross-functional team on the planning and execution of key improvement opportunities.
? Identify and implement effective communication and change management strategies
? Manage executive stakeholder communication and progress reporting to COE leaders, Business Leaders, and Master Black Belts.
? Serve as a recognized expert for a process focus area.
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Proven experience in influencing, leading teams and driving change results orientation
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Business Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or comparable preferred
3. Minimum of 7 years experience
4. Can-do attitude & strong advocate of lean six sigma, Agile and Fastworks methodology
5. Strong analytical and quantitative skills
6. Strong working knowledge of English language (written and oral)
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambigious environment
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Track record of digitization innovation and technology-driven business outcomes
2. Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals.
3. Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
4. Master degree from an accredited university or college,
5. Statistically literate and familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
6. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
7. Executive level presentation skills
8. Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities
9. Applies knowledge to coach and mentor others
10. Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
11. Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
