Contribution towards global IT • Contribute, together with the IT leadership team members, to the development of the global IT strategy
• Develop, implement and monitor LM IT regional strategy and keep it aligned with the group IT strategy
• Develop operational plans from IT regional strategy and ensure implementation within Global IT.
• Implement and promote IT governance (plans, policies, processes and procedures) that will achieve the strategic objectives and support the business
• Understand and adhere to the main processes within Global IT.
• Share business updates, issues etc. with Global IT.

Project Deliverables
Provide an efficient, cost effective and high quality IT Support to the Business • Promoting the Global Service Desk to provide IT support to the end-users.
• Ensure IT processes and SLAs are followed by the on-site support team
• Ensure that local IT assets are well tracked and provide necessary inputs towards global organization when required.
• Ensure a transparency around local budget.
• Responsible for IT costs within area of responsibility.

IT Vendor coordination • Extend support to the license and contract management for renew / new contracts
• Coordinate with vendors for support

• Prepare budgeting details.
• Monitor License compliance
• Work with Risk Management Department / Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements with Finance & Legal. Full/Full Transparent license & contract information

Leadership & People Management • Coach and monitor the team- and individual performance of staff based on appropriate evaluation methods and target setting and initiate corrective measures in case of deviation, to drive sustainable value.
• Recruit, manage, motivate, coach, hire and fire key talent (assisting also one level below direct reports) to meet business objectives.
• Develop organizations with a global footprint.
• Identify training needs and development of training programs and monitor application of trainings and progress.

Role Summary/Purpose
Act as an interface between the LMWP Business and IT function. Is responsible for building relationship with local business stakeholders of IT systems.
Supervise IT professionals in China who support the delivery of reliable IT infrastructure and systems to the organization.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education • University level
External Experience • 8-10 years of experience in an IT Department in an international business environment. At least 5 years of experience in managing a team at different locations
Certifications • ITIL Foundation
Internal LM trainings/qualifications • LM Management training
Knowledge and Skills • Knowledge within relevant functional area
• Overall knowledge of different ERP solutions is preferable
Desired Characteristics
• Demonstrated experience working cross-country, cross-culture in a multi-site, multi-national organization
• Good communication skills
• Excellent people management skills
