Essential Responsibilities

• Lead project team, including horizontal partners, through contract reviews to identify and manage risks, monitor financial and operational performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates corrective action where appropriate.
• Drive team effectiveness to achieve business goals and the development of team.
• Primary customer contact. Resolve specification and commercial issues, manage correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate.
• Responsible for the financial performance of projects.
• Responsible for on-time delivery in accordance with contract.
• Responsible for project risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective projects closeout.
• Provide full scope of leadership for project team, including performance evaluation, annual assessment, salary planning, and employee development.
• Creates an environment which enables the attraction of new, qualified talent to the team.

Role Summary/Purpose

Project Management/Planning/Coordinating activities typically in the context of a production or services project to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited university • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to effectively manage a team / organization
• Strong people management, team building, performance management, strategic and operations planning, process management, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Strong skills in customer relationship building, facilitation, and matrix management
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills
• Strong business and financial acumen
