Senior Product Manager



Bing News team is looking for a strong product manager with a designer background to develop innovative online news product that changes the life of billions of people around the world. Bing News is a critical part of Bing, a world-class search engine that retrieves the most relevant results for users from billions of documents in a matter of milliseconds. Bing News provides news search and recommendation services to end users as well as strategic partners inside and outside Microsoft.

Key responsibilities of this role include the following:



• Conduct user and market research, and create product vision and roadmap.

• Design user scenarios and features with a thorough understanding of user needs.

• Work with engineers, designers, marketing teams to ship awesome products.

• Leverage analytics to continuously optimize products and grow users.

• Engage with publishers and business partners to integrate content with the platform.

• Apply your knowledge of current events to make programming and marketing decisions.



The successful candidate should have experience in an online news publishing e***ironment. More detailed requirements as follows:



• Excellent writing and communication skills, capable of producing headlines news on an online news site.

• Understand current industry best practice and market trend.

• Ability to understand technology and work with top notch search engineers.

• Accountable and capable of working on multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.

• Bachelor degree in Communications, Design or Computer Science.



The location is based in Beijing.
