Want to use big data to grow the $30B Microsoft Office and Bing business? The shared data team is looking for talents that can materialize hundreds of petabyte data to empower 20,000 engineers in Office and Bing organization developing better products. This Beijing, China based role will work closely with both engineering team and business partners to identify the data needs, develop data strategy, and define a successful path for Office and Bing engineering team to maximize the value of data. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for big data, works well in a dynamic, fast paced e***ironment with multiple stakeholders/partners, like to think out of box, and is result driven.

Responsibility

- Drive the product strategy & roadmap for Office and Bing data

- Work closely with partners, stakeholders and engineering team to align product strategy and land the product

- Define data product specification

- Drive in-depth industry landscape and competitive analysis

Required qualifications include:

- 10+ years of experience in a service focused product management role.

- 3+ years of experience in big data related business

- High motivation and entrepreneurial work ethic

- Resourceful self-starter with a track-record of driving action and results

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to impact and influence at all levels throughout the organization

- Proficient in English

Preferred qualification includes:

- Have experience in both large corporation and start-up

- Training as a data scientist with background in data mining and statistics

- Cross-geo collaboration experience
