The position

We are looking for an experienced, open-minded, creative communications professional who combines a broad communications career in events or entertainment agency with strong marketing and business development project background.

Our Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and producing high-quality and impact written content in English and Chinese for editorials, blogs, social media and video and graphics.

Following our internal communication goals, our MARCOM will guide our presence and be a key participant in corporate strategy.

Ideally, you have excellent English and Chinese writing skills with strong analytical and research ability. You have experience in project management and proven business development and marketing savvy.

You enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment and have China experience in journalism, speech writing, and corporate communications and fully understand social media channels and trends.

Main Tasks

- Working with stakeholders to set and drive strategy, gather information and manage projects for local and international communications.

- Responsible for the whole lifecycle of internal and external articles and communication materials including research and planning, drafting, developing, producing and publishing.

- Responsible for the production of video for internal communications.

- Maintaining and growing our client pool.

- Maintaining and growing our suppliers’ pool.

- Manage and coordinate with 3rd party partners and vendors for content creation and content-related work (including but not limited to: translation, publishing, technical production, etc.).

Qualifications

- Mandarin native speaker with bilingual ability in English (German ability highly desired)

- Excellent written ability in both languages across a broad range of mediums (blog, social media, articles, video scripts, speeches, etc.)

- Master’s degree in related field

- 5+ years’ experience in media, journalism, corporate marketing and communications consulting or agency preferred
