职位描述
Role and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is the client’s main point of contact creating and presenting highly imaginative proposals and managing each project from beginning to end in an agile and effective manner. With preferable experience in events agency or marketing industry, the PM manages small, medium or large-scale projects independently and offers long-term consultancy and regular updates to the clients, developing creative concepts and themes, implementing project processes, planning budgets and controlling costs for the benefit of the client and our Company.
The PM is a strong leader and team player with strong management and organizational skills who works positively with internal and external partners and suppliers. Your main goal is to successfully execute and lead the projects through its final delivery. A high level of time and resource management is a plus!
Tasks:
- Develop and pitch event proposal based on the clients’ objectives and vision; create themes accordingly with the most creative elements possible.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, execute cost control, issue profit projections and monitor the overall operation through a detailed reporting structure.
- Control, Manage, Expand and Monitor contractors and suppliers
- Lead the project teams successfully, create and follow processes and ensure project completion and handover within the client’s specified timeframe, stipulated budget and with the highest quality.
- Monitor and report project progress accordingly
- Provide creative and technical guidance to designers
- Draft, update and send contracts and invoices to clients in a timely manner
- Create and distribute schedules
- Research venues, suppliers, talent, speakers and celebrities; manage contract negotiations
- Source pricing and place orders for rentals and purchases
- On-site working at event
Requirements
- Junior PM proven working experience in event planning or agency (ideal 1 year)
- Senior PM proven working experience in event planning or agency (ideal 3 years with management experience); entertainment industry related experience such as PR, marketing or Design/Creative or any equivalent combination of experience and education desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet)
- Very detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Willing to work both independently and within a multi-cultural team
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment handling demanding deadlines
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Management skills very desirable
- Ability to analyze and interpret general business contracts, as well as proficiently write reports, and other business correspondence
- Proficiency in budgetary management
- Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, fast learner and positive attitude
- Able to overtake flexible working schedules as nights and weekends are required and determined by each event
- Experience in coordinating meetings, scheduling agendas, purchasing materials, creating and managing records
- Ability to understand and manage clients’ expectations successfully
- English and Chinese fluency
