BASIC FUNCTION:

Software Qualification and System Test of Car Infotainment Systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The following list of duties describes the primary tasks executed by the Development group. The manager of the group will be called upon to ensure that these tasks get completed.

1. Coordination and preparation of testing and failure analysis of in Car, or bench level and technical support at the customer site
2. Participation in test runs, on site error analysis / Performing tests / reproduction of errors
3. Coordination / preparation of LH's diagnostics / SGBD
4. Interface with customers, prepare / attend meetings and documentation
5. Support for software and logistics processes Flash
6. Support in the Creation & Review of Test Specifications for each individual project. Creation and maintenance of test cases according to customer specification
7. Support for "Plan and build the test environment in the lab and in the test car"
8. Develop & Review test cases according to the Product Specification
9. Qualify the target product by executing tests on site or at the customer site.
10. Create & verify Problems ( Tickets) within the Harman Electronic Verification & Information System (Elvis). Creation of bug reports, bug reports and preliminary analysis of the traces. Regression and reproduce errors
11. Responsible for Testing and Debugging of SW release. Ensure successful Software Integration Qualification and meet product release deadline.
12. Ensure the software is downloaded and configured correctly in the respective target. Follow closely each test case scripts, make necessary trace during the test and prepare detailed debugging report in English with accurate supporting trace files and appropriate failure analysis
13. Be creative, logical and capable in formulating and implementing strategies for different test situations
14. Have high technical competence and be able to provide in-depth technical assistance during the lab and road tests
15. Organize test activities in the lab and for road tests
16. Be willing and flexible to travel to perform road tests
17. Familiar with fundamental Quality standards and rules
18. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor
19. Related software development skills
20. Automate application and regression testing
21. Close communication with the development areas and testing departments (application and across multiple sites)
22. Commissioning and modification of software and hardware components

OTHER DUTIES:

1.Completes other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education BSEE (Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering ) minimum requirement
Advanced Engineering degree preferred

Experience 2+ years in Automotive Industry or other QS9000 compliant work experience desired
Working Knowledge Basic knowhow in electronic designs is essential
Basic knowledge in software development and debugging using micro-processors and DSP is recommended
Experience in GPS devices, automobile industry
C-class driving license with driving experience is preferred
High motivation and an excellent communication are required
Ability to work in a team and procedural working method is a precondition
Excellent English language skills
