JOB OBJECTIVES:

He/She is performing and /or managing the annalysis of planning and risks for projects with a focus on support of project manager. He/She will be assigned to project teams on request. He/She is accountable for investment project planning and schedule and reports to the project manager of one or more projects during the planning and execution phase.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Defining Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for the project
2.Preliminary Execution Planning, key milestone schedule plus manpower estimating & planning
3.Review the detailed Planning of Engineering activities, including manpower loading & resource levelling submitted from contractor.
4.Monitor planning and cost developments of engineering/vendors/contractors and develop the cost and schedule (trend) report
5.Perform the risk management as support to the project manager
6.Review project variations from project team or contractors
7.Responsible for training Junior staff, and mentoring planner
8.Analyse the project developments (including technical) and translate these into schedule consequences and seek for opportunities to improve these objectives
9.Facilitate communication between and among Project-team, BU and Corporate Management as well as external parties
10.Ensuring planning/scheduling are performed in accordance with BASF Corporate guidelines & standards.
11.Leading a team of up to 10 persons within the BASF organization

REQUIREMENTS:
1.Bachelor degree mandatory - Master degree, PhD and MBA will be an advantage
2. At least more than 15 years total work experiences in chemical or petrochemical industry .At least more than 8 years work experiences in project contorl and scheduling
3. Open minded active, creative team-player and self-motivated.
4. Skilled in relevant software and tools.
5. Proficient spoken and written English and Chinese (mandarin) skills
