Main purpose of the job / :
Supervises accounts receivable operations and team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Key tasks:
- Overall responsibility of sub-team's Account Receivable process performance's quality as per company policies and applicable laws.
- Monitor AR collection to ensure accounts receivable clearing are compliantly, timely and accurately executed.
- Ensures successful completion of monthly A/R close and account reconciliation.
- Supervises the order and shipment release to ensure credit risks are minimized
- Establish credit control related process and procedure in accordance with group credit control policy
- Lead annual credit review process and customer risk assessment.
- Ensure accounting for bad debts and provisioning comply with accounting standards.
- Explore AR collection instrument and opportunity for reducing DSO.
- Manage customer master setup and assists field users with A/R code setup.
- Coordinate and dealing with internal & external audits related to collection activities
- Participation of projects on financial system, process improvement and optimization
- Ad hoc tasks / projects assigned by reported manager
- Bachelor Degree or above
- 5+ years working experience, at least 2 years at senior level, supervisor level or having experience in leadership is a plus
- Fluent in both written and oral English and Chinese
- Strong attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- Solid Accounting knowledge, especial for credit management
- High level of energy and ability to energize others, openness and passion for improving processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate across distances, to multiple functions, and to different levels
