Main Responsibilities and Duties
Conceptual Design:
? Give inputs for Land acquisition, support the site study, due diligence study in terms of piling, foundation, pit protection and building structure
? Giving input to the LIR and IR application in terms of the structural engineering
? Giving input to the conceptual drawing process concerning local regulation

Construction design:
? Work closely with local Design Institute, PCM and external design consultant to be responsible for the structural part of the Schematic Design, Preliminary Design, Detail Design to secure always the most cost efficient design.
? Securing that all the IKEA manual and requirements belonging to the Construction business are considered
? Coordinate the external design consultants and relevant Authorities on structure design
? Ensure that all necessary IKEA requirements are included in Tendering/Building Application/Contracting documents

Construction Execution:
? Support the CPM and SCPM on piling, foundation, pit protection and building structure construction until the main structure completion
? Pay regular site visit and take part in general site meeting for all projects when necessary.
? Secure that the complete structural design is coordinated with all the involved parties.

Capability
? Strong management and leadership skills and the ability to prioritize wisely
? Excellent communication, organizational skills and customer focus
? Very good Chinese and English verbal and writing skills
? Good understanding of sales and marketing concepts and the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate marketing plans
? Excellent social competence and outstanding diplomatic skill to act in different situations, management levels and cultures
? Minimum 15 years design and construction experience. 10+ years working experience in a local design institute as the structural discipline leader is a must.
? Adequate university/Bachelor degree or above.
? Computer literacy, AutoCAD and etc.
? Structural engineering background.
? Knowledge on design and construction of retail project is a plus
? Full knowledge and experience about financial controlling.
