职位描述

Position: Business Controlling, MbO and Reporting

Division/Department: Group Strategy and Sales & Marketing

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

  • Oversee Group performance achievement of Group Strategy & Sales & Marketing (GSSM) and subsidiaries and lead in advanced level reporting, track sales performance, business risk control and budget planning to ensure corporate objectives are achieved
  • Provide steering and advisory services to relevant entities (subsidiary, function team, project, etc.) in order to drive performance goal realization; lead and manage annual budgeting process and budget allocation of entire VGC GSSM
  • Monthly P&L reports, track sales performance and business risk control
  • Lead and manage and coordinate KPI and MBO of whole of GSSM team members and subsidiaries (e.g. VGIC, VWHK)
  • Fully understand and consolidate VGC GSSM budgeting and reporting processes, monitor process compliance and drive process optimization;
  • Manage financial and audit risks; In-house financial advisor for GSSM team, lead financial feasibility study for strategic GSSM projects
  • Coordinate, analyze, and provide strategic recommendations for Board of Directors (BoD) meetings of entities under relevant entities of VGC

Your Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and drive Group performance achievement of VGC GSSM and subsidiaries
  • Develop VGC GSSM’s KPI concept based on overall business targets and function operations, lead and coordinate with operation departments in defining functional KPIs.
  • Lead and steer the implementation of KPI system into relevant teams and entities
  • Review monthly finance and business performance data of VGC GSSM, VGIC, VWHK, etc.
  • Communicate and discuss monthly performance result to VGC EVP GSSM
  • Develop and communicate performance improvement initiatives with relevant team and entities
  • Accelerate subsidiary corrective action plan implement and tracking result

2. Lead annual budgeting and monitor for GSSM

Based on the overall business strategy and performance target compile and allocate budget by following approach:

- Steer bottom-up planning of each team/department

- Define top-down target for each team

- Align bottom-up budget and top-down target

  • Fully communication with
    VGC finance and controller dept. and JVs controller dept. and FCV to
    achieve common understanding and synergy operation for common project
  • Track and analyze VGC
    GSSM budget on regular base and report to VGC GSSM EVP
  • Introduce advanced
    finance and budget management tools to JVs
  • Advise and guide
    financial controllers of VGC GSSM,
    VGIC, VWHK, and JVs to manage and control annual budget

3. Lead GSSM process compliance and risk control, drive process optimization

  • Fully understand the operation processes of different GSSM entities, especially in financial, tax, treasury, audit and other financial related process
  • Guarantee normal operation process, avoid financial risk and audit risk
  • Identify potential areas for process optimization, especially in financial, tax, treasury, audit and other financial related process
  • Develop, communicate and discuss process optimization initiatives with VGC EVP GSSM and VGC finance and controller dept. and FCV
  • Lead financial related process improvement and implementation

4. Lead entities finance management development and financial section of strategic projects

  • Key team member of all VGC GSSM and VC projects financial related section, from feasibility study to set-up financial management process
  • Act as strategic business advisors and provide financial analysis and feasibility study report to executive management teams and governance bodies in support strategy project initiatives
  • Direct and lead entities finance management development, introduce advanced management tools

5. Coordinate, analyze, and provide strategic recommendations for BoD meetings of entities under GSSM (VGIC, VGHK, VWHK)

  • Coordinate agenda and materials for BoD meetings
  • Have pre-meeting with entities and provide recommendations accordingly based on information prepared for the BoD
  • Active participation in the BoD meeting and provide strategic recommendations for the BoD members
  • Track the implementation of resolution and protocol following the BoD meetings

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance or related discipline
  • CPA China, ACCA or other international CPA is necessary

Personal skills:

  • Knowledge of KPI management and have practical experience
  • Knowledge of local financing environment and bank product
  • Knowledge of cars and automotive industry, Sales and Marketing financing management
  • Project management experience and capabilities
  • Budget control capabilities
  • Strategic thinking, Structural thinking
  • Self-driven, Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Leadership skill, Readiness to accept responsibility

Working experience (in years):

  • 8-10 years of financial management and controlling and banking and treasury management or other financial management related experience, with 3 years in the automotive sector.

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

  • Good oral and written communications skills (Chinese and English)
