Position: Compliance Consultant

Division/Department: President/Governance, Risk & Compliance

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

In accordance with Group Compliance Strategy and Group Compliance Standards, the principal duties for this function are

？ to set up and implement an effective Compliance Management System (CMS) (in accordance with VW Group's established preventative approach).

？ Unified alignment and interlinking of CMS activities in China as well as integration of new companies into Volkswagen Group's CMS,

Including the operational implementation and monitoring

？ of all CMS-related activities

Your Responsibilities:

？ Developing, establishing and operating an effective cooperation and communication model with in-scope NCS to support the implementation of adequate CMS in NCS

？ Integrating new NCS into the scope of the Compliance Management System; Provide operational support and consultation during initial process set-up and consulting for the Joint Venture for compliance-related questions

？ Implementing a risk-based approach to mitigate significant risks from NCS to meet R32 requirement including provide training and consultation to BoD members of NCS, conduct compliance pre-check on NCS with external support, carry out onsite visit to understand NCS’ status with regard to Ethics and Compliance and perform follow up reviews, etc.

？ Enabling and ensuring best practice and information sharing in order to identify common compliance issues/risks to avoid reoccurrence in other entities

？ Planning and implementing communication activities using a company-specific, risk-oriented and target-group-specific approach in order to provide support to NCS’ implementation of the Compliance Management System to the legally possible and necessary extent

？ Monitoring the implementation of the CMS in the companies to minimize liability risk for Volkswagen and NCS due to potential compliance risks; design, operate and further develop a reporting system for the CMS in the companies

？ Reviewing and responding to changes in laws / regulatory requirements/new risks to Volkswagen Group and Volkswagen Brands represented in China, and internal compliance regulations by defining appropriate actions and measures

？ Conceptualizing and implementing joint cooperation to cope with same compliance challenges and legal environment in China with Brands represented in China

？ Seeking alignment on common compliance topics to ensure similar approach where possible and designing and operating continuous further development of a suitable information sharing and communication system like identified CMS gap, misconduct or threats to the extent legally permissible

？ Providing advice and consultation on the subject of CMS to Compliance Officer of NCS to support the establishment and development of CMS in NCS

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

？ Degree, preferably in legal sciences, business management with special training or knowledge in the area of compliance

Personal skills:

？ Demonstrate high integrity, flexibility, willingness and consciousness of responsibility

？ Persistence, assertiveness and organizational skill

？ Strong communication, negotiation and facilitation skills

？ Unrestricted personal integrity to represent Compliance issues convinced

Working experience (in years):

？ Several years of business experience within VW Group / knowledge of branch / similar branch or Law / Audit firm experience (min.3- 5 years)

？ Several years’ experience with Compliance ideally within an international environment

？ Very good knowledge and expert ‘know-how’ of relevant international and national laws

？ Experience in law, risk management, audit and / or compliance or similar areas within an international industry company, law firm / attorney’s office or audit company

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

？ Business fluent English (spoken and written); additional language preferable

？ Excellent knowledge of MS Office
