Position: Intelligent Connected Vehicle Premises

Division/Department: VGC R&D Technology Asia / Group R&D

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

The core mission of this position is to gather, aggregate and communicate information on future external influence factors to all departments and people concerned in the company. The objectives are the communication with departments like Corporate Affairs, Homologation, R&D and Sales & Marketing, to gather valuable information on future external changes regarding government regulations, industry standards, development trends and market factors. Beside the aggregation and analyzes of information, a main objective is the communication of information to specific stakeholders in the company who are affected by the changes.

Your Responsibilities:

This position holds the responsibility for the described scope (above) and tasks (below) within Volkswagen Group China. Furthermore, it holds the responsibility to align with relevant counterparts.

？ Cover ICV premises & regulations including, but not limited to, following aspects: Technology (V2X, Government Cloud, ADAS, HAD); Products & Services (Private, Shared mobility, future mobility solutions); Partnering, Business Model

？ Communication to internal contact persons from departments like Corporate Affairs, Homologation, R&D and Sales & Marketing to gather valuable information on future external changes regarding government regulations, industry standards, development trends and market factors.

？ Aggregation and analysis of gathered information on value quality and reliability through research and exchange with internal and external interface partners.

？ Communicate information and provide supporting documents on future changes to concerned stakeholders in the company to enable corresponding decision making.

？ Constant monitoring and facilitation of committees, work groups and meetings in relation to ICV topics and ensuring that corporate management messages and decisions are fully understood by everyone in the company.

？ Build-up and maintenance a broad network to internal and external interface partners in the field of Autonomous Driving/Intelligent Connected Vehicle and attend relevant conferences & round-table.

？ Serve as sparring partner to (Top-level) management position for consultation in decision-making.

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

？ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent

？ Advanced degrees or supporting technical degree/s in Computer Science/ Information Technology or Engineering are a plus

Personal skills:

？ Familiar with Chinese government organizations in the field of transportation, as well as government's policy and directions.

？ High level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills from working level to (Top-level) management

？ Strong abilities in independent, self-organized work, and cross-functional/-entity collaboration

？ Networking skills with the ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment

？ Articulate and analyze complex information and structure with clear and concise written documents

Working experience (in years):

？ 3-5 years working experience in the government, public and or corporate affairs in China or in relationship to the Chinese market

？ Experience in autonomous driving/ICV from a IT and/or automotive perspective are a plus

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

？ English fluent

？ German is a plus

？ Chinese is a plus
