Position: NEV-Charging Hardware-Development

Division/Department: R&D Technology Asia/ Electrification

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

？ Deliverables of specific NEV-charging-hardware (HW) development project(s)

within NEV-charging (infrastructure & technology) work stream are ensured

？ Successful release of the developed charging hardware by VGC and/ or its brands in region China is ensured

？ Technological Project Management of development activities of the specific NEV-charging-HW is successfully performed:

o Support on business case-definition from business department at VGC

with technical expertise is incorporated

o Transformation of business requirements into technical concept/ specification is performed

o Goal-oriented lead of involved HW-developers within VGC & its brands is ensured

o Technical alignment across functions at VGC and its brands as well as other (external) stakeholders is ensured

o NEV-Charging work package-related development-operations meetings with business/ technology side are goal-oriented organized and performed

？ Status of Charging-HW-development project(s) is regularly reported

in e.g. Charging JF, C-TN-internal meetings, and other meetings at Volkswagen Group.

？ Representation of development project-content/ status are made

according to goal of the individual NEV-Charging work packages in alignment with Head of Electrification

？ Execution of decisions from NEV-steering committee, Charging Jour Fixe or work stream-coordination meetings is ensured.

Your Responsibilities:

？ Lead of specific NEV-charging-hardware (HW) development project(s) within NEV-charging (infrastructure & technology) according to Electrification’s development responsibilities

？ Successful release of the developed charging hardware by VGC and/ or its brands in region China

？ Support on business case-definition from business department at VGC with technical expertise

？ Transformation of business requirements into technical concept/ specification

？ Technical alignment across functions at VGC and its brands as well as other (external) stakeholders

？ Organizing and performing NEV-Charging-work package-related working meetings with business/ technology side

？ Organizing and performing NEV-Charging-work package-related working meetings with business/ technology side

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

？ Master degree in Electrical Engineering (especially with focus on Electronics)/ Natural

Personal skills:

？ Result-oriented personality

？ 100% team player

？ Structured working approach

？ Excellent coordination and organizational capabilities mandatory

？ Excellent communication capability and convincing capabilities

Working experience (in years):

？ Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive/ Electrical (e.g. Electronics) industry, ideally in China

？ Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware development, ideally in China

？ Ideally experience in NEV-related development projects such as Charging-HW

？ Experience as development project lead/ technical project management as a plus.

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

？ Languages: Fluently in English and Chinese, German as a plus
