Position: IT PM Cloud Service and Transition Management
Division/Department: HR, Orga. & ITP / ITP Region China
Location: Beijing
Main goals and objectives:
? High quality performance and availability of centralized IT operational services for Region China in order to achieve effective planning and implementation of the requirements which are relevant to operation based on company needs, in line with group and international standards (ITIL, IT-PEP) in the area of the Connected Car Service Operation
? Efficient Technical Capacity management and coordination for Big Data and Business Analytics resources
? Efficient Transitions management and coordination
? Efficient processes and corresponding documentation (process and knowledge management) and reporting
? Governance to service providers by international industry standard (ITIL)
? Continuous technical and process improvement and optimization
? High-quality IT service delivery and customer satisfaction in accordance with the defined KPIs and the MBO
? Technical consultancy for IT services in all regional companies
? Manage and coordinate external service providers in the Connected Car Service Operation Area including:
o Technical and functional supervision of contracted parties
o Contract management
o Support hiring process for new service employees
o Monitoring and reporting
? Project planning and execution ensuring cost- /schedule and scope adherence
? Support budget planning processes, control the projects and services within the planned budget
Your Responsibilities:
? Manage Services for Big Data Resources include Technical Capacity Management, QA and Testing.
? Managing and tracking milestones and KPIs related to the Big Data Resources.
? Review project created concepts considering Operations defined requirements determining the suitability for continuous operation and the development of relevant operational support concepts and processes
? Support planning of load and performance tests or penetration tests on environments under Cloud Operations responsibility.
? Provision of requirements and documentation, which are in the Cloud Operations responsibility (e.g. requirement for load and performance test concept)
? Benchmark and review performance and capacity of Cloud Operations Services and make recommendations for improvement or upgrade requirements
? Specification of the strategic objectives of the Service management and coordination of the Service management process across all IT Services but especially Cloud operations area
? Continuously analyze, review and re-check the existing Service management and Capacity Management process in the Cloud Operations Area to be more efficient, more effective and to minimize risks and impact of transitions. Defining, measuring and evaluating related KPIs
? Organizing and moderating of meetings related to Service management in the Cloud Operations Area
Our Requirements:
Technical skills:
Expert knowledge in IT Service Management Standards (ITIL Version 2 and/or 3) and deep experience in operation management according to VW Group Standards. Ability to identify the operations and business requirements, analyse group and state-of-art solutions and define concepts to set up and maintain sustainable IT Services.
? Expert knowledge and experience in technologies used for a big data analyses (Hadoop based environments) and Cloud environments
? Understanding of Web interface technology (e.g. RESTfull, SOAP)
? Understanding of infrastructure architectures and basic concepts (e.g. Network Technologies, Storage, Backup Technologies, Redundancy concepts, Monitoring Technologies, Ticketing System, Knowledge Database)
? Understanding of key performance indicators, critical success factors and vital business functions
? Understanding of needs of business users including achieving user satisfaction by serving Cloud Operations Services with high quality
? Understanding of Monitoring and reporting tools to ensure service stability, issue tracking and pro-active action to solve incidents or problems Understanding of the IT Security concepts and methodologies
? General understanding in purchasing, controlling and finance processes
? Familiar with the usage of standard project management tools (MS Project, MS Visio, Ticketing Systems, knowledge management, reporting and monitoring tools)
? Understanding of optimization of IT Service related planning and operative processes and tasks
? Understanding of User Management concepts
? Understanding of the information technologies used in above mentioned areas
? Know how to train and guide external partners in IT Operations Tasks
Necessary education:
? Additional master in business administration or business science would be an advantage

Working experience (in years):
? At least 5 years’ experience in IT Services Management (ITIL)
? At least 3 years knowledge in IT project management (PMP or equivalent) preferably in the automotive industry
? At least 3 years’ experience in a big data analytics environment (Hadoop based environment) and Cloud environments
? Experience in a Web interface technology environment (e.g. RESTfull, SOAP)
? Experience with IT Architecture design and implementation
? At least 3 years’ experience in software development and/or in application management area, preferably for large-scale client/server and web-based software in the automotive and/or production industry
? Familiar with IT Security Concepts in the areas mentioned above
? At least 2 years’ experience with IT Service Planning (Service Transition), Delivery and Optimization (incl. Budgeting)
? Experience driving request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) processes and evaluate the technical proposals
? At least 3 years’ experience with management of the IT Service processes (e.g. Incident, Problem and Event management, Change management)
? Experience in leading Project Teams and enhancing Team Quality
? Experience in managing partners/vendors to deliver the requested products, solutions and services
? Experience in Documentation and Reporting
Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
? English fluent (spoken and written)
? German or/and Chinese would be an advantage
? Intercultural competence
? Big Data technology related certification
? Cloud technology related certification
? Hadoop technology related certification
? PMP or equivalent certification
? ITIL certification and experiences
