Position: Innovation & IT Partnerships

Division/Department: Human Resources, Orga. & ITP/ ITP Region China

Location: Beijing

Your Responsibilities:

？ Regular interact with local stakeholders/business and for the IT/system related Innovation management for Connected Car

？ Determines Connected Car ITP Innovation requirements and proposals and management standards by analysing needs of users/departments; prioritizing modifications to related systems; developing and implementing documentation requirements related to the project area

？ Communication and documentation of the status of the innovation funnel and adaptation into regional application strategies for the Connected Car area

？ Build up stable and regular communication to identify and realize synergy in the Connected Car area with all involved stakeholders incl. JVs

？ Support Connected Car Program Roadmap and Project Planning for upcoming 3 years in cooperation with all ITP entities incl. JVs of Region China

？ Manage Business Process Changes and deployment of new innovative solutions in coordination with the project teams. Integration of these Changes into Test Cycles

？ Coordinate, validate and implement change requests and release updates in cooperation with the project teams and the suppliers and their quality assurance through testing

？ Drive request for proposal (RFP) process and manage partners/vendors to deliver the requested projects, solutions or services

？ Harmonize JV, VW Group and VGC needs and new solutions in the Connected Car area

？ Develop, monitor and review annual IT budgets of the Connected Car area to ensure they comply with the group’s corporate goals, guidelines and objectives

？ Cooperate within the process of new releases and deployments implementation

？ Manage Innovation projects/programs for all aspects including Business and technical needs and ensure the alignment of local and central teams objectives, standards and policies including rollout of Connected Car solutions, local business process re-engineering and system development

？ Present updates regarding the Solution and project portfolio including roadmaps and project challenges

？ Implement and optimize Standard processes and policies (e.g. Homerun Strategy) in the Connected Car area

？ Achieve Innovation project objectives by professional project management; contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems, determining system improvements

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

？ Bachelor or Master in computer science or equivalent

？ Additional master in business administration or business science would be an advantage

？ Proven experience in telematics systems

Technical Skills:

？ Expert knowledge in embedded systems, Process analysis & Project Management Standards (PMI or equivalent) and deep experience in project/program management according to VW Group Standards. Solid knowledge about the VW Group SOP Planning and ability to identify the business requirements, analyse group and state-of-the-art solutions and define concepts to set up and maintain sustainable IT projects/programs.

Working experience (in years):

？ At least 5 years’ experience in software development in the automotive and/or production

？ industry

？ At least 3 years knowledge in IT project management (PMP or equivalent)

？ Proven experience in the telematics area and development of Apps

？ Minimum of 1 year with international projects

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

？ English fluent (spoken and written)

？ German or/and Chinese would be an advantage

？ Intercultural competence

？ PMP or equivalent certification
