The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the logistics activities for Tyco Flow Control (TFC) in the APAC region aligned with business requirements and supporting TFC's Global Logistics initiatives. The Logistics Manager will design and assist with the implementation of domestic and global logistics strategies for all Tyco Flow Control's business segments; drive analytics to identify ways to minimize total logistics expense while maximizing service; and manage the relationships with all of the TFC core carriers in APAC while looking to develop partnerships with those firms that truly support TFC's needs.

Additional responsibilities:
Conduct quarterly business reviews with the core logistics providers to ensure they are meeting TFC's outlined service requirements.
Maintain and update TFC's transportation rules tariff, which includes terms governing service levels, rates, classifications, rules, accessorial charges, and carrier practices.
Assist with and guiding the various TFC sites with any logistics/transportation issues and any consolidation efforts in the supply chain.
Interact with Manufacturing, Inventory Planning, Transportation, Distribution, Customer Service, and other functional areas in each segment/unit to develop and analyze logistics strategies.
Assist in leading and developing RFQ's for various modes of transportation within the APAC region and to/from APAC.
Develop and update TFC corporate standardized transportation contracts.
Monitor and support freight payment performance and resolve freight payment process issues between carriers and TFC locations related to rejected freight bills, short payments on invoices, rate or pricing discrepancies, and general aging issues.
Form and lead high performance, cross-functional teams to achieve pre-determined project deliverables.
Investigate new logistic and workplace concepts through continued education, seminars, training, and/or other research avenues.
Support the business segments with other sourcing opportunities, e.g. assessment of total landed costs

Qualification and requirements:
University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
5-7 years experience in transportation or logistics.
Warehouse or Distribution Operations background preferred
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and communicate effectively to multiple stakeholders.
Experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably Strategic Sourcing.
Expertise in contract negotiations and tariff management.
Experience in multi-national, global operations preferred
Multi-lingual highly valued, English proficiency required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
