About Align

Align Technology was founded in March 1997 and designs, manufactures and markets Invisalign, a proprietary method for treating malocclusion; the misalignment of teeth.

Due to our rapid expansion in Asia Pacific, we are now looking for a candidate to fill the following position:

Duties & Responsibilities

· Prepare month-end financial reports in compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures, and ensure reporting deadlines are met

· Ensure that local accounting principles, practices and procedures are followed in compliance with internal requirements as well as US and China GAAP.

· Review, implement and maintain an effective and robust internal controls system in compliance to SOX requirements, and ensure adherence to approval processes

· Support SAP implementation

· Develop and deliver ad hoc reports for business needs

· Manage internal and external audit requirements and tax return

Relationship

· Report to Angela Fang, CN Senior Finance Manager

· Work with Finance team at Shanghai

· Supervise GL and accountants in the region

Requirements

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills to give strong business partnering support

· Solid understanding and experiences in US GAAP and Chinese GAAP as well as local tax matters; A good understanding of government policy in the healthcare industry is highly appreciated and a plus;

· Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

· Agile, results oriented, customer focused

· Acts with integrity and fairness and high standards of accountability

· Language: English and Chinese (written and spoken)

· Strong systems skills with prior experience of Finance ERP system. Working knowledge of SAP/ Netsuite

Education [Degree or equivalent experience]

· Bachelor’s degree of above in Accounting, Finance with professional accounting certification such as CICPA/ACCA

· At least 8 years relevant experience and a plus in managerial role, big 4 background is required

· Related medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience is highly appreciated
