Summary:

  

  

The primary objective of this position is twofold: to provide the product manager with the necessary administrative assistance to successfully manage his/her product responsibility; and to provide the intern with valuable experience and realistic exposure in the field of marketing.

  

  

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  

  

• Supports product portfolio as requested by Marketing Team

• Coordinates release and distribution of product information to the sales force as directed

• When possible, provides more comprehensive technical assistance to the sales force and customer

• Maintains files and catalogs of competitive products

• Assists as needed in sales training

• Assists in preparing marketing and business plans

• Assists in any major projects as assigned by Product Manager

• Assists in reviewing of sales forecasts and sales estimates

• This person has no direct reports

  Candidate Qualifications

  The ideal candidate should:

• Be in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in marketing (or related area) or pursuing an MBA

• Be capable of communicating effectively, influence key stakeholders

• Be able to establish good working relationships through excellent interpersonal skills

• Be able to quickly learn new concepts

• Be near fluent in English and speak Chinese fluently

• Be pro-active and enthusiastic approach and computer literate
