IT Business Application Support Manager-Shanghai

The IT Business Application Support Manager will ensure Technology provides application support services for production systems in accordance with Service Level Agreements. Efficient and effective lifecycle manage applications will minimize risk and impact to production services. It is also imperative to integrate with infrastructure teams to provide end to end support.

The candidate will ensure operational costs are managed to agreed financial targets, ensure application assets are lifecycle managed with investment planned to minimise business risk and ensure Technology charges reflect usage, and are meaningful and available to internal clients. You will develop and deliver platform optimization opportunities to minimise costs. The role also has focus on developing infrastructure services which are matched to business needs, and transparently reflect service performance and cost attributes.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years experience in technology related disciplines with a background in business-facing services/consulting roles
• Extensive experience working in the banking and financial services industry within a particular business domain/functional area
• Extensive experience in managing stakeholder relationships, particularly in a change environment
• Demonstrated track record in managing complex issues through to satisfactory resolution
• Proven experience in reengineering a business for growth and efficiency
• Strong customer focus and ability to consult with stakeholders
