Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the confirmation of the closing of various corporate companies of the group, including internal transactions and offsets.

2. Coordinate preparation of all financial reports in accordance with IFRS and Harbour Biomed's requirements, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, departmental reports, and reports for government regulatory agencies.

3. Planning, organizing and coordinating year-end close processes including financial statement audit.

4. Assisting with the coordination of the annual budget process.

5. Provide leadership to the accounting team.

6. Support implementation of Harbour Biomed Policies and procedures.

7. Critically assess current accounting operations and processes and implement best practices.

8. Evaluate and implement internal control systems and risk management processes.

9. Other duties as assigned by the finance director.

Education and Experience:

1. Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail;

2. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a similar field, proficient in in‘Kingdee’software;

3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

4. Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

5. Big 4 firms experience with CPA license, at least 10 years of financial related work experience, especially working experience in consolidated statements, experience in listing financial reporting is preferred;

6. Familiar with audit procedures and Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, with strong financial reporting and logical analysis capabilities;

7. With professional dedication, self-motivated and certain leadership skills.

Company Overview
Harbour BioMed is a global biotechnology company discovering and developing innovative therapeutics for cancer with a focus on immuno-oncology and autoimmunity/inflammation. The company's discovery and development programs are centered around its two patented transgenic mouse platforms for human antibody discovery.
The company is building its proprietary pipeline internally, through collaborations with co-development partners, as well as through selective preclinical and clinical stage asset acquisitions. Harbour BioMed also licenses the platforms to companies and academic institutions through its Harbour Antibodies subsidiary.
