Candidate needs to have a very high engineering aptitude and great execution capability.

？ Create concepts and prototypes for mechanical and related components

？ Design and develop mechanical parts for medical device products

？ Design and develop jigs and fixtures per testing and manufacturing requirements

？ Plan and perform relevant testing required for products and instrumentation, based on internal testing requirements, and current compliance and regulatory standards.

？ Generate supporting documentation and reports

？ Liaise with vendors on component and tooling manufacturing

？ Perform research & development duties, including

？ Test method design, design evaluation, design reviews, design specifications, design verification and validation, design transfer.

？ Support product risk analysis and risk management.

？ Source new materials, components and equipment.

？ Development of component specifications, inspection methods, bills of materials and manufacturing processes.

？ Validate product design in preclinical or/and clinical settings

？ Maintain awareness of current technological developments and accepted industry standards

？ Some level of travel across China will be required to visit vendors and attend relevant conferences.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

? Bachelor’s degree (with 7+ of industrial experience) or Master’s degree (with 5+ year of industrial experience) in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field

? Sound experience in designing, processing, testing and manufacturing of mechanical components/products, preferably experience of precise/tiny mechanical structure design

? Solid experience of Pro.E to produce component designs, layout and detailed drawings, experience in PDMlink or similar system

? Solid experienced in precision plastic part, sheet metal part, die casting part

? Deep understand of GD&T, Tolerance stack-up calculation, DFM, DFA

? Familiar with DOE, DFMEA methodology

? Familiar with Minitab

? Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
