Job descriptions:

1. Be responsible for protein engineering and production

2. Be accountable for biological reagents characterization by LC-MS

3. Participate in strategy development on production process and innovation

4. Support early new drug discovery projects

Requirements:

1. PhD or master with background track of bio-engineering, biochemistry, protein chemistry or structure biology

2. 3 years+ industry or academic experiences in protein production

3. Hands-on experiences in recombinant protein expression in multiple expression systems including E. coli, insect cell and mammalian cell

4. Proficient in multiple protein purification techniques, such as gel filtration, affinity, ion exchange and invitro. refolding

5. Hands-on experiences in biological reagent analysis and characterization by LC-MS

6. Knowledgeable and experienced in protein-ligand interaction detection is a plus via biophysical methods such as ITC, SPR, and etc.

7. Trouble-shooting ability when encountered challenging proteins, such as low yield, aggregation and etc.
