Exams services assistant (EOR) (CHI-356)

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM

The Customer Service team handles over 40000+ EOR applications from 4 regions in China per year as well as monitoring a pool of 80+ EOR examiners national wide.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY

This is interesting role for those who are looking to embark on a career with us; you will provide professional and effective service to IELTS candidates in China and ensure the IELTS EOR service is compliant with global IELTS Administration Manual and take full responsibility for executing IELTS service processes for four offices in China

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be able to qualify for this job role, you will require to have proficiency in English B2 (Aptis, IELTS 5.5 or equivalent), Chinese (Mandarin native-speaker) and to have qualifications that are relevant to a bachelor’s degree and also to have working experience in customer service environment with a level of understanding of Windows platform application.

British Council China

The British Council has had a presence in China since 1943, and since 1979 we have been operating as the Culture and Education Section of the British Embassy and Consulate-Generals in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing. We also opened our first English centre in Mainland China in September 2017, based in Nanjing.
