Exams Operations Officer (Assessment Solutions) (CHI-357)

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM

The English and Examinations Strategic Business Unit (E&E) is one of three strategic business units in the British Council (the others being Arts and Education & Society) all of which have the remit to build trust for the people of the UK by building relationships through aspects of our language and culture

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY

This is interesting role for those who are looking to embark on a career with us; you will be providing high quality and professional service delivery of British Council assessment products, with focus on the Aptis tests not limited to delivering test administration training, managing test sessions, preparing trial tests, producing tests reports, responding to enquires etc and also support the management of positive relationships with clients, candidates and other related stakeholders.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be able to qualify for this job role, you will require language proficiency in English C1 (Aptis, IELTS 6.5 or equivalent), Chinese C1 (HSK 5 or equivalent), a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and it will be preferable that you have working experience in administration management, customer services, project management and people management. It will also be highly advantageous that you are to bring along experience of managing international exams and/or computer-based exams or product with knowledge on international exams administration in China.
