Description


Primary Functions:

-Provides Quality leadership, guidance, direction and focus to cross-functional Current LaserJet Product teams to ensure:

· Quality related issues are identified very early in product life

· Top Quality and On-Going Product support issues are resolved in an expedited manner.

· Minimize warranty costs by actively managing top quality issues

-Champion top quality with key partners like research & development and support organizations to ensure quick and efficient resolution of above issues

-Develops, documents, and shares best practices/processes to facilitate improvements in existing infrastructure and job requirements

-Manages warranty projections (rates, dollars) and warranty reporting for specific products or portfolio of products

Principle Responsibilities:

-Leads cross-functional Product focused team to identify and characterize LaserJet quality issues, during the early phases of Product life. Leads resolution of top quality issues, documents and updates issue status through out the program.

-Reviews all sources of product quality data to identify top program issues related to Customer Experience. Identifying missing data sources or data quality issues.

-Leads and coordinates product specific CPITs (Current Product Issues Team), responsible for delivering solutions to quality issues throughout the supply chain.

-Provides guidance, support and coaching to help team understand the total program perspective. Sets priorities and helps make appropriate business trade-offs. Identifies owners and resolution timeframe for all program deliverables.

-Proactively identify risks and potential problems. Ensures contingency plans are created, recommending alternatives and trade-offs.

-Ensures quick and efficient resolution of unresolved/unstaffed issues through the timely escalation of problems to higher management. Provides Management with sufficient program information as necessary to make good business decisions concerning escalated quality issues.

-Influences LaserJet teams to ensure that future programs benefit from current product learning.

-Manage Production Ship/Holds that may arise from identified quality or customer experience issues.


Qualifications


-BA in Engineering/Computer Science and 8 plus years of working experience with 3 plus years of experience in project management

-Ability to analyze quality data, looking for potential issues and/or trends. Green or Black Belt training preferred.

-Ability to lead cross-organizational/cross-functional teams to successful resolution of quality and/or customer experience issues.

-Excellent English communication and organizational skills both written and verbal.

-Previous experience in the area of quality issue resolution and/or customer support.

-Demonstrated ability to communicate/champion issues to upper management.
