Job Title: Technical Service & Development (TS&D) Specialist- For Industrial Water/Wastewater Treatment

Overview and Primary Responsibilities

This job provides the timely and in-depth technical support for mainly reverse osmosis (RO)/Nano-filtration(NF), ultra-filtration (UF) and ion exchange resin (IER) in Chinese industrial water/wastewater treatment

• Provides effective Technical Service to numerous accounts for the business and responds to technical questions of customers. Implement on-site troubleshooting independently.
• Convinces others about differentiated technical solution by demonstrating strong link between Dupont Water Solutions technologies and value in customer applications. Communicates results and impact of projects with sense of urgency to influence decision within the business and with the customer based on value.
• Partners with Product Stewards to identify and address regulatory constraints and requirements for implementation of product strategies through in-depth knowledge of applications.
• Develops in-depth understanding of the competitive environment. Creates innovative solutions and applications in response to changing market conditions.
• Effectively/Frequently communicates with engineering company, OEMs, consultants, associations, and end users.
• Attends appropriate industry conferences and contributes data and input for papers and presentations. Prepare external product promotion presentations and technical paper publication to enhance business growth.
• Provides support and guidance to field pilot activities
• Assists global/regional Research & Development(R&D)/Application Development(AD)and marketing team in new project shaping and new product development
• Communicates and appropriately documents work in the form of internal reports/ presentations, technology manuals, knowledge management resources, external reports, and patents when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Master Degree of chemical engineering, polymer science, membrane science, environment engineering or power station chemistry etc. It is also necessary for bachelor applicant to have 3+ years of experience related to water treatment.
• 3+ years of experience in R&D/AD of membrane technologies (including UF and RO/NF) in water/wastewater treatment industry is desired.
• Fluent in English with good written and spoken skills.
• Good presentation skills in conference, workshop, exhibition and seminar.
• Available for relatively frequent short-term business trip (>50%).
• Motivated, independent and responsible person with teamwork spirit is preferred.
• It is preferred to have solid background on academic research with good publication.
