POSITION SUMMARY

- Serves as the primary business contact for the clients.

- To consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.

- To build relationships with clients to encourage new business opportunities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue. -

- Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.) to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.

- Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Managing Director of any problems that may arise.

- Owns the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client according to company’s related policy and procedure.

- Approves Change Orders and invoices, and is responsible for payment collections.

- Works closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.

- Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.

- Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the Managing Director, Sales or other support teams.

- Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team.

- Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.

- Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.

- Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities

- Reports to the Managing Director, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a periodical  basis.

- Maintains all required reports/paperwork, performance reviews and personnel records through established paperwork guidelines.

- Additional projects and duties as resigned by the Managing Director.

                              

JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE

Academic:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience & knowledge:

- Over 10-year professional experience in the multinational freight forwarding/logistics company, of which minimum 8 years of Account/project management experience.

- Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.

- Good business sense and the ability to work to budgets.

- Able to lead team, good at people management and passion for the brand.

- Good communication skills, strong presentation and negotiation skills.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Fluent in Mandarin and local languages.
