? Manages the operational supply chain activities required in the unit: supplier sourcing, supply agreements negotiation, procurement, transport & material logistics
? Ensures cost-optimized, efficient and timely supply of goods meeting defined quality and service requirements for the business
? Define the sourcing strategy for the allocated commodities/products
? Identify, evaluate and select suppliers
? Define supplier portfolio
? Initiate supplier qualification
? Negotiate, sign and apply supply agreements
? Manage supplier relationship (performance follow-up, risk management, claims & contract management)
? Analyses local SC processes to identify areas for optimization to ensure efficient SC processes. Implements and adapts globally defined tools & processes in unit.
? Interfaces with other units within region or business to identify synergies, exchange best practices and to align SC strategies and plans
? Drives local people processes for subordinated staff in conjunction with General Manager Parts delivery centre incl. performance management cycle, salary review cycle, training

Knowledge and Experience
? Experience in dealing and negotiation with suppliers.
? Excellent global supply chain comprehension, preferably within at least two functions.
? Min. 7 years of experience covering both technical and supply-chain areas
? Global supplier base knowledge
? Specific knowhow in the transport and freight forwarding business
? Specific industry and/or Alstom product knowledge
? Manager of team above 3 pers
