5.1 Tasks & Responsibilities (max. 5)
Description of the main principle tasks & responsibilities

? Support the definition, development and deployment of electrical systems sourcing plans in line with the localization plan requirements
? Identify, evaluate and select electrical systems suppliers in China
? Negotiation of trial order and frame agreements based on forecasts and orders
? Manage the supplier relationship, including performance follow up, risk management and contract management
? Secure & manage capacities with key suppliers
? Drive and achieve total cost reduction, by managing the related initiatives
? China market-research and reporting (supplier development and strategy, technologies, competitors)
? Provide timely sourcing input to tendering
? Support supplier qualification, development and supplier performance improvement
? Actively manage and minimize risks of supplies
? Provide correct and timely information for reviews and budget
? Continuously improve sourcing processes, internal and external


Additional Responsibilities
? Support commodity management for ALSTOM Global supply
? Promote ALSTOM as a valuable customer at selected suppliers
? Promote the interests and image of the company at all times
? Behave according to ALSTOM Code of Ethics and Values

? Reduction of total cost of managed commodities
? On-time delivery of managed commodities for trial order
? Localization rate target
? Manage the non-conformance rate of managed commodities
? Localization plans identified and implemented for managed commodities
? Realize the target of localization rateo
5.3 Autonomy

Professional Experience
Experience gained on the job during professional life
Mandatory (MUST)
? 5-year experience related to electrical systems in power or similar industry
? 3-year sourcing experience related to electrical systems either in commodity management, spare parts purchasing or fields requiring a combination of technical and commercial skills (e.g. project management)
