Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking -Beijing

Responsibilities:

The Relationship Manager is responsible for actively managing and growing a portfolio of accounts through client acquisition, cross-sell and referrals. It is expected that a clear understanding of the performance history and future plans of each portfolio is well understood by the relationship manager (account planning) before advice is given to the client. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with product partners and other stakeholders to ensure an effective and value adding strategy is identified for the client whilst minimizing all potential risks to ANZ.

You will develop and implement client strategies in conjunction with product partners and relevant parties to identify the right product and service opportunities. Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of your clients business and financial needs (account planning) will be expected of you. The role also focuses on developing effective working relationships with overseas colleagues to deliver seamless services to clients.

Qualifications:

We are looking to hire candidates with fair level of experience in a corporate/SME or business banking environment and strong knowledge of financial statement and credit assessment skills incorporation (background of sound business lending). Tertiary qualification in a business related field will be preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and client focus will be essential.
