Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships with local, national, and international media in order to generate newsworthy publicity.
• Ensures media strategy meets our marketing objectives, reaches targeted markets and conveys accurate messages.
• Develops public relations and media programs and acts as naked’ spokesperson with the media for relationships.
• Plans and directs the development of all press informational materials, photography/video for advertising, newsletters and other communication vehicles necessary to publicize and promote the company in general and special programs in particular.
• Creates content marketing and develops/optimizes awareness, engagement and KOL campaigns to drive traffic and leads, that deliver sales.
• Executes local content/editorial development based on marketing campaigns and activity plans.
• Leads and follows up on content innovation across different social platforms to enhance performance.
• Idea generation and realization on specific campaign (and activity) based projects.
• Grows and nurtures fan base and interactive rates to drive performance that aligns with strategic KPIs.

· Identifies and evaluates insights, trends, and opportunities both within and outside of existing channels.

• Identifies threats and opportunities in user generated content, together with the customer service team, for necessary elevation and action.
• Reacts, responds, and executes quickly to ad-hoc or real time opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Public Relations Agency with focus on travel, hospitality industry, or hotel or FMCG background in public relations.
• Solid knowledge of China media/social media landscape.
• Solid strategic planning and project management capability. Be able to manage multiple stakeholders and proactively drive for alignment.
• Advanced creative writing experience with an ability to understand the company's brand tone and translate that into effective social posts that drive engagement.
• Efficient at multitasking and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of thinking outside the box; creative ideas.
• Excellent in Chinese verbal and written skills, fluent English is plus.
