Main tasks

Customer Contact

· Definition of customer needs (specifications)

· Organizing reviewing and verifications

· Ensuring on-time design and resources

· Keeping customer up-to-dated of project status

· Main customer contact in daily project related issues concerning domestic and/or international projects

· Planning of customer projects

· Participates and organizes customer meetings

· Responsibility of project related issues and tasks

Sales support

· Participates the quotation work

Design of electronic circuits

· Design of electronics circuits based on existing specifications or requirements, design rules, component libraries and customer requirements with several design tools

· Documentation of design including the needed manufacturing documents.

Design of printed circuit boards

· Design of electronics circuits based on existing specifications or requirements, design rules, component libraries and customer requirements.

· Documentation of design including the needed manufacturing documents.

· Optimizing the design for manufacturing processes to be used

· Optimizing the design for manufacturing tests and test system

Test design for hardware

· Producing a test specification or requirements for a manufacturing tests

· Optimizing the design for manufacturing tests and test system

Prototype testing

· Responsibility for testing the prototypes

Verification of the design

Participate the verification of the design

Other tasks

Participate the development of the electronics design methods

· Responsibility tasks (for example maintenance of the component libraries and maintenance of the hardware design manual)

Manufacturing support

· Technical product support for manufacturing and supporting functions (for example documentation and process development)

Supporting the other design teams

· Technical product support for other design teams (for example tester design, SW-design and tester maintenance)

Expertise

Responsibility tasks (for example RF-design and design of programmable logic circuits)

Requirment

Education:

· Suitable technical education (BSc, MSc or equivalent)

Work experience:

· Several years of experience in the field of electronics

Special know how:

· Ability to approach problems and solve them in an analytical matter

· Good knowledge of design methods and design tools

· Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods

· Good knowledge of external and internal design standards

· Good project management skills

· Ability to produce specifications for electronic circuits from customer requirements

· Ability to carry out thermal and electrical calculations

· Ability to produce good documentation

· Flexibility for strict schedules of deliveries

· Good team work skills

· Good co-operation and negotiation skills

Language skills:

Fluent written and spoken English
