Job Function

- Responsible for setting up lab testing platform, including OTA and conducted environments, to support Qualcomm key customers. Customize test plan based on customers requirements, performance concerns and new features. Work with customers to debug and troubleshoot problems observed during testing.
- Responsible for 5G and LTE-A performance testing in lab, initiating competitive testing and analysis, and helping customers to debug and resolve UE functionality, performance and stability issues.

Skills/Experience
Extensive experience in LTE radio performance verification and characterization of commercial and pre-commercial wireless device, including smartphone, is required. Familiarity with radio test environment set up for both conducted and over-the-air (OTA) test environment is required. Strong capability in test device and equipment configuration and experience in working with test equipment vendors are desired.
Strong capability and extensive experience in trouble-shooting and debugging cellular protocol and RF implementations desired. Familiarity with 3GPP and associated cellular specification for LTE and 5G NR desired. Knowledge of other wireless protocols and systems including UMTS and GSM is a plus. A good end-to-end system understanding of LTE and/or 5G NR protocol is a plus.

Self-motivated, proactive, and effective communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team from various disciplines desired.
