Position Description:
· Manage responsibilities for China, Japan, South Korea, and any other required location, while based in Beijing
· Implement company policy, procedures, processes and programs for the purpose of safeguarding people, the environment, property and information, and for ensuring compliance with all Company and Statutory-related requirements
· Assist in providing protection services, consultation and advice throughout Asia to specific executive personnel within the company and distinguished visitors, as well as supply technical expertise to assess risk
· Provide guidance and solve problems related to company information security, industrial security, investigations export compliance, emergency and disaster preparedness, crisis management, computing security and other special projects, including coordinating security and support for regional air shows and exhibitions
· Develop office and residential security plans, interface with alarm vendors, conduct pre-event advance visits, accompany traveling principles and create detailed after-action reports
· Develop a strong working relationship with local, national and international law enforcement agencies
· Conduct investigation of compromises of sensitive data, frauds, workplace violence, as well as other violations of company rules by employees
· Perform additional duties as directed by S&FP management duties and responsibilities are subject to change per requirements of the Management
· Develop robust risk management programs for a range of business-related issues that impact an organization's strategic and operational-level crisis and security management capability, through an acute understanding and knowledge of practices and principles associated with risk analysis and assessment


Competencies:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in a Security Risk Management discipline
· At least 10 years of commercial experience in a responsible position, preferably within a law enforcement or government agency in the region, and/or as a professional regional security manager
· Possess a multi-disciplinary background with a high level of skills, and the ability to operate with minimum supervision
· Able to assess and conduct international office site surveys and assessment, and to document the findings in a clear and concise reporting format
· Possess a high degree of multicultural awareness, and a comprehensive knowledge of the political, security and social issues associated with operating in often challenging or volatile risk environments or situations
· Possess information protection skills and a working knowledge of data protection practices in the international community
· Bilingual with English as the primary language, and fluency in the Chinese language
· Able to actively seek information to understand customer's circumstances, problems, expectations and needs
· Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for developing customer relations and collaborating with the senior/executive management
· Able to develop an established network of industry contacts, as well as to cultivate and maintain relationships for the purpose of achieving business development goals
· Able to conduct excellent verbal presentations to communicate results to the senior international company management
· Able to interact and communicate effectively with senior management, business clients, colleagues and external parties
· Possess a sound knowledge of security risk assessment and management, executive protection, crisis management, business continuity, risk evaluations, loss prevention, security training, fiscal management and asset protection
· Possess information protection skills and a working knowledge of data protection practices in the international community, along with proficiency in technology and IT devices, operations and standards that impact information protection
