Job Summary (Purpose of the job)

Under the guidance of MDM/DW team lead, the role will work closely with other MDM/DW engineers to design and develop both standard MDM/DW solution applicable across clients and customized MDM/DW solutions for specific clients; work on the collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing of huge sets of data.


Major Duties Performed (Main Functions)

1. Design, develop and test MDM/DW production or solution with high quality.

2. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve assigned problems.

3. Quickly learn new technologies and share the knowledge to the whole team.


Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required

Skill & Experience

1. 5+ years of MDM/DW project experience.

2. Be familiar with Master Data Management & Data Governance solution, experience with integration of data from multiple data sources, Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks.

3. Good knowledge of Big Data (Hadoop/Spark/Hive etc.), Proficiency with querying tools such as Pig, Hive.

4. Be familiar with Python and Java.

5. Experience with Hortonworks/Cloudera/MapR/AWS S3 is high preferred.

6. Clear understanding about project lifecycle and delivery process.

7. Good programming habit and strong commitment for quality.

8. Experience in healthcare or pharmacy industry is preferred.


Qualifications

1. Bachelor or above in computer science or comparable education

2. Good team player and self-motivated. Able to work independently under a high pressure

3. Quick learner and strong willingness in learning different technologies

4. Fluency in written English
