Job Purpose:
Business development in Private Clients Team’s services, to develop Greater China market, to manage complex portfolio of client structures and High Net Worth clients with timeliness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
■ Manage client portfolios;
■ Develop new business with respect to the Group’s global products and services, including Family Office, Trusts, Foundations, High Net Worth Family Governance;
■ Manage all aspects of sourcing and developing new relationships in order to expand the scope of the Private Clients team;
■ Initiate contact with and develop new business from clients and professional intermediaries;
■ Maintain and build close relationships with clients and intermediaries;
■ Ensure the provision of efficient and quality service delivery, liaising with clients, intermediaries and professional advisers;
■ Ensure new client business allocated to the internal service partner is thoroughly researched and that the clients’ requirements are understood;
■ Identify and raise technical issues and potential problems with Line Manager;
■ Able to work closely with the Trustee Services team, and other stakeholders on the Service Line side;
■ Attend meetings with clients and professional intermediaries.
Key Requirements:
■ Degree-qualified in business, law, or administration related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent relevant experience;
■ Completed relevant professional qualifications: STEP/ACCA or Law;
■ Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, of which at least 4 years’ experience is in handing high net worth clients;
■ Experience in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan market is essential;
■ Strong experience, preferably gained in financial institutions, trust companies or professional firms;
■ In-depth experience in sales of financial products and services;
■ Strong business acumen;
■ Good connections with clients and professional intermediaries;
■ Excellent in spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese;
■ Good command of written English and Chinese;
■ Periodic travel is required.
