Responsibilities:

The task is to protect the company's resources against loss and to improve the company's efficiency. In this context, the job holder is responsible for ensuring that the scope of an audit adequately tests that:
- An efficient Internal Control System is set up and its application is ensured by the responsible management
- The set objectives of the company management have been fulfilled
- Internal standards have been observed
- Legal requirements have been satisfied
- Resources have been used in an economical and efficient manner
- Corporate assets have been safeguarded.

- Assist Manager to prepare annual audit plan. Carrying out risk assessment as part of the development of an annual audit plan.
- Assist Manager on the reporting to Senior Management and Board of Directors as required.


- -Execute regular audit assignments in China. Participate or lead ad hoc investigation work as required.
- Work with the regional audit team together when necessary.
- Identify and evaluate the risk and effectiveness of internal control system.
- Verify proper implementation of procedures, instructions, laws and regulations, the safety of physical and logical environment, the quality of accounting and financial information
- Reporting of audit findings/reviews to manager, recommending appropriate and practical actions to address any issues identified.
- Raise audit recommendations, complete audit report .
- Ensure implementation of the stipulated measures through follow up of the measured/recommendations.

- Co-ordination and communication with business departments and all support functions including Compliance, Risk Control, Accounting and finance etc.
- Participate in the development and commitment of methods and procedures (Best Practice) for the implementation of functional audits and special audits as well as for fraud analysis and fraud prevention.
- Participate in the development of internal documents related to internal control to ensure that they meet the requirements of legislation and BMW Group.
- Support the information and communication obligations to external auditors, and regional auditors.
- Assist department manager on administration tasks when needed.


The job holder is also one of the designated contact persons for the banking supervision audit related issues. Reply regulators enquiries in respect of the internal audit function within China under approval from Manager.
Internal Audit is authorized to check all processes, systems and controls of the company, free in arrangement, scope and time scheduling, taking into account the daily business. There is an unlimited access to all organizational units, sites and buildings, notes, activities, information's and personnel during the fulfillment of tasks.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree or above.
- Professional qualifications(CIA, CISA, CPA etc).
- Exposure to finance industry is a must.
- Knowledge of finance, risk management practices and standards, IT risk and control desired.
- Good understanding of internal control concepts and the COSO Internal Control - Integrated Framework.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, and high sense of responsibility and strong executive ability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet time lines, without compromising the integrity of the information.
- Good communication ability with good interpersonal skills, and demonstrate good cooperation and team spirit capability to work efficiently
- Computer literate especially with Excel, Word and Power point.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, German language would be an advantage.
