Key Objectives
Support steering of product line functions


Major Responsibilities
Analysis Functions
- In-depth analyses on the performance of sales regions, products and its competitors (in co-operation with other sales teams
- Evaluation of effectiveness of initiated product and sales measures/actions for respective products & sales regions
Support Product Line Managers in following areas:
- Support of Sales Regions by Management of Sales Programs, Policies and Guidelines incl. application process in order to get approval for necessary budgets in relevant committees by submitting respective proposals
- Coordination of various programs and information from and to sales regions to and from various departments and ensuring consistent approaches in and between the sales regions
- Provision of necessary updates on new policies and strategies or product information to regions
- Leverage on AMs to successfully steer products in the market by closely monitoring actions and product related performance
- Definition of key success factors of products and development of short & mid term product actions in close cooperation with Product & Price Team in marketing
- Deriving effective sales measures from analyses of market situation in order to initiate further improvements
- Close tracking on activities of competitors, including new product launches, price measures, marketing & PR activities etc. and development of fast counter actions upon necessity
Planning
- Planning of any sales programs and actions throughout the year in order to ensure max. effectiveness, impact and consistent approach in all sales regions
- Development & implementation of annual Product Action Plan in co-operation with relevant functions for target achievement
- Management and Coordination of budget planning process within Sales in terms of Sales Regions in close co-operation with volume planning & Sales Strategy
- HEA Launch planning support for new products incl. leading a cross-functional team

Education / Degree
Diploma in Business Administration of an University or University of applied Sciences, MBA or equivalent education

Knowledge / Skills / Competences
Strong project management skills and ability to manage complexity
Business fluent English & Mandarin
Quick understanding of business processes
Strong Analytical, conceptual capabilities
Excellent communication skills
Strong capabilities in preparing reports, illustrations of analysis results as well as presentations
Convincing
Creative
Good skills with Excel, Power Point and Access
Willingness in travel

Experience
4 to 6 years experience in sales & marketing functions, preferred in multi-national automotive companies preferred or comparable experience
Sales and/ or Marketing experience

  The BMW Group is one of the most successful manufacturers of automobiles and motorcycles in the world with its BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce brands. As a global company, the BMW Group operates 24 production facilities in 13 countries and has a global sales network in more than 140 countries.

  The BMW Group achieved a global sales volume of approximately 1.46 million automobiles for the 2010 financial year. Revenues for 2010 totalled euro 60.477 billion. At 31 December 2010, the company employed a global workforce of 95,453 associates.
