Key Objectives
This position is responsible for the management of Dealer operations as well as the management of Aftersales functions including service, parts and accessories for the Motorrad Division.
The position provides support to the Motorrad Manager, manages Dealer development activities, monitors Dealer business and service performance as well as ensuring Dealers are compliant with all Motorrad Standards. This position is also responsible for targets and action plans for the After Sales sector.
Major Responsibilities
Responsible for the management of the Technical Manager and Parts & Accessories Manager.
Strategic planning for all Aftersales activities including Marketing activities for implementation with the Marketing Manager.
Responsible for the setting and achievement of BMW and Dealer targets and KPI’s for Service, Parts and Accessories.
Responsible for ensuring all Dealers are in compliance with BMW Retail Standards.
Providing advice to Dealers with set-up of Dealer showrooms, P&A areas and service centers in order to ensure a high level of presentation and efficiencies.
Develop and implement policies that will enhance the level of satisfaction with the BMW ownership experience in China.
Management and co ordination for Dealer training activities including Product training, Sales training, Technical training, Service advisor training and Parts and Accessories training.
Management of the BMW Roadside Assist program.
Responsible for the ordering of Service CD’s for distribution to Dealers.
Support for authorities and corporate customers with regards to technical subjects and problem-solving.
Monitoring of customer complaints and highlighting serious complaints to the Motorrad Manager.
Responsible for the management of Dealer IFC and CSI, including the tender process for suppliers.
Responsible for quarterly Dealer performance reviews including CSI, IFC and Market Share with the Motorrad Manager and Sales Manager and where required the development of Action Plans to assist Dealers with unsatisfactory performance.
Coordination of new Dealer appointments and Dealer terminations in co operation with the Dealer Development Manager.
Responsible for identifying, purchasing and the distribution of Dealer ICS / OCS elements.
Management and maintenance of the Motorcycle Dealer Plan.
Dealer visits on a bi-monthly basis to monitor Dealer activities, ensure Dealer compliance, collect market intelligence and assist dealers with Aftersales topics.
Education / Degree
- Appropriate tertiary industry qualifications.
Knowledge / Skills / Competences
Strong Attention to detail along with time Management Skills.
- Numerical aptitude with strong emphasis on accuracy.
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistical computer programs.
- Motorcycle/automotive sales analysis & data interpretation experience.
Experience
- Industry Experience in the motorcycle service and aftersales area.
