Essential Responsibilities
• Act on all matters pertaining to schedules, status and inventory and translate, prepare and assign meaningful and functional productivity plans to meet established master schedules for customers
• Assistant in the calculation of detailed schedules for equipment, materials and manpower with respect to schedule needs versus resource capabilities
• Work to control inventory levels, cycle time, machine load and other aspects as required to meet schedules
• Interface with material input organization to assure realities and timely delivery of hardware to meet schedule requirements
• Lead the organization by establishing shop schedules that adhere to the department schedule, and support those schedules through the manager efforts of schedulers and coordinators
• Assist in determining manpower needs to meet facility measurement and budget goals
• Manage material to meet forecasts and customer demands. Make decisions to release, firm, cancel, or defer material orders based upon current inventory, demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Analyze and/or determine MRP, order policy, and work scheduling data on item masters. Review WIP inventory levels to ensure inventory level is optimized.
• Daily supervision of the Planning team, ensure the team in compliance with company code of conduct.
• Responsible for the related EHS management on behalf of Material function.
Role Summary/Purpose
Provide manufacturing leadership in the developing, planning and implementing the master schedule, lead activities that encompass detailed manufacturing plans and scheduling for assembly, shops, satellites, domestic, international and revenue share partners.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor degree or above in mechanic engineering, business administration; MBA is preferable;
• Minimum 8 years planning or supply chain management experiences with 3 years in supervisory position; preferable in mechanic industry;
• Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Self-motivated and team player;
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP system (preferred: Oracle);
• Proficient English in both spoken and written
